This battle droid unit was originally a normal BX-Commando Droid that was promoted to an captain sometime during its service to its masters. To show its promotion, its head and chest was painted white, commando droid captains would also use vibrosword as a secondary weapon. Like all commando droids, it served no one side, instead it was sold on to the public, but was bought mostly by the CIS and the Black Sun.
